Who waves to Peter? I know we always look for him when we drive near Ballinger 😎

www.facebook.com/1873887349555799/posts/1938898113054722/?d=nI have lived here for over 46 years. I moved here from Holland in 1970 and purchased 5 acres here back when Buderim was bush for $3500. We ended up here by accident, when we came from Holland we knew we wanted to live in Queensland but never heard of the Sunshine Coast. Back in Holland I had a business but that's a long story. When we ended up here at Buderim I got a job at the Ginger Factory. I retired 4 years ago when I had a triple bypass. I have been married for 60 years. My wife is well and keeps busy.
I like to come out every morning and wave and say hello to everyone, I really really enjoy it. I come from a country town in Europe and over there everyone used to say hello to each other. I enjoy saying hello to the children, they might remember it later in life. About a year ago the police came and parked their car asked me what I was doing, he wanted to know my name and address and everything. They checked me out which is a good thing because I am near the schools. That is fair enough and I am glad they do that. Now when they come down Ballinger Road or Stringybark they wave to me and say hello.
